Riviera 68 Sports Motor Yacht Reveals High Quality Fitout
The level of quality and luxury in this motor yacht is being fully revealed as the interior fitout with all its fine detail takes shape.
As well as being luxuriously built and fitted out, the magnificent Riviera Sports Motor Yacht is designed to CE Category A certification. This means that her build and features are rated beyond even the highest levels of build quality for which Riviera has long been renowned around the world.
Vessel Walkthrough
Cockpit – Stepping aboard through either of the transom doors, the large cockpit is revealed. Teak decks and treads to the cockpit entertainer mezzanine are complete and protected as craftspeople move back and forth with materials and fittings. Cockpit preparation work is completed ready for the barbecue and refrigeration module to be installed. This unit includes a moulded water-tight door to the engine room. The exterior vents for the powerful MarineFlo engine room extractors are in place.
Salon – The large galley, positioned at the aft of the saloon, is in place with all its high gloss cabinetry installed, awaiting only benchtops, tapware and whitegoods. The metal frame for the 55-inch pop-up TV is fitted forward of the galley and the cabinetry for the entertainment unit beside the TV has been fitted. Overhead pelmets and high gloss cabinetry through the saloon have also been installed.
Flybridge – The spacious flybridge in this motor yacht is rapidly taking shape with the leather surrounds of the wide helm station and the side panel that will hold the engine controls now in place. A specialist German upholsterer, veteran of leading luxury car brands including Audi and Mercedes Benz, has been brought on board to complete the fine detail highlight stitching and installation of all this leatherwork. A chart drawer is now in place on the outside of the helm station, easily accessed from the forward starboard lounge.
Work is also proceeding well on fulfilling the dreams for owners of the second of these magnificent craft, also a 68 model bound for Spain, and now two 72 Sports Motor Yachts have commenced production. They will go to owners in Victoria and Queensland.
The 68 Sports Motor Yacht will be launched in June and will undertake her extensive QC and engineering sea trials on Queensland’s Gold Coast before heading south in late July to make her world premiere at the Sydney International Boat Show from Thursday, August 3 to Monday, August 7.
